Soft, dense bristles gets the mod done right. One gentle pass with this brush and my stylus comes clean. No chemical or residue. As with all Pro-Ject accessories that I've tried thus far this little brush is top notch. In regards to dust I would also recommend the Pro-Ject "Leather-it" turntable mat. Made of leather it does not seem to attract or generate electricity. Winter is coming and static with it. Beat the dust with this gentle combo as I have.

Reviews where I can say that it does what it says on the tin!A case of following the instructions and watching a few You Tube videos about the correct method to use when cleaning your stylus and off you go!Does it / will it make difference to prolonging the life of your stylus etc. then who knows, but for the money then it’s no brainer to wind up the wife a little bit and to once again be referred to as a vinyl nerd🤣
