Hello, when I got my sample from my ipsy bag it was a light purple. So when I went to the store it was different color and it surprised me. They do have one that is a dark purple that is a different kind. Hope this helps.

My experience. The tube with purple seem thicker and flopper which makes me wonder if it is older product. The plan gold and black tube is newer with newer packaging. I prefer the gold and black tube.
