This foundation is great. I had been buying the light/medium from an MK consultant, but since moving further away from her I was just in a hurry to get some ordered after spending my summer in the desert and it seemed like a good time to try to the medium/dark. My skin tone is somewhere on the high end of the light/medium and the low end of the medium/dark, neither seems to really give me the color I need so I just mix them together and it seems to work perfectly. I really like the finish of this foundation. It's not heavy or matte, which are two things I'm not a fan of. It leaves me with a natural dewey finish. I don't think the lasting time is great though, mid day I look like as if I never did my face at all. And as someone who isn't fond of the smell of sunscreen, the hint of it that this has is quite noticeable to me but does seem to fade quickly after application. Most importantly though, I've never had my face burn in all the hours I've spent outside when wearing this -- and that's why I continue to use it. I also own a more pricey ($50) medium coverage foundation that is 50-spf which I use on occasion and has a much better color match, but the MK CC is a great daily go-to for a quick low maintenance look that protects your skin and doesn't break the bank.

I discovered this magical stuff a few years ago at a MK party for my friend's wedding. It makes my skin glow so beautiful. It evens my skin tone, with a natural finish. My skin also feels and looks better even after I wash it off! I used to buy it from a MK dealer, until I discovered the cheaper and more convenient amazon option. I will wear this forever, to my grave!
