Pros; The 12" sub box was a custom fit for the complex under back seat design of the 2023 Silverado. High quality sub box with face down sub openings. Awesome bass from 12" Kicker subs. great Kicker amp. The bass boost knob is a must and works great.Cons; I took the combo to Best Buy to get installed. They said the aluminum wiring that comes with this set is no good. I had to buy a copper set. The amp that comes with the set provides more power than the subs were rated for. Since I did not want to buy another amp, the Best Buy tech adjusted the power gain down (or some thing like that) so it would not harm the subs. Just something you should be aware of. Best Buy did an amazing install ata great price (well worth it) and I highly recommend them. They also installed the Bass Boost knob within reach so I can change it on the fly when switching to news or musics sources.

Installed it new for my 2016 Fiesta ST. I bought it to control my bass since it’s a small hatchback and for instant control of certain music my friends and I listen to. Wire was plenty for my install location and simple plug and play. If your curios on how I managed to place it like the way it is in the image: remove panels in the shift column area and some of the AC control panels. Remove the small cubby and make a hole on the driver side back portion to run wire (previos owner and dealer made a massive hole in the rear that’s why I chose that spot). Pre mount it in the inside portion and get a idea of the bracket holes. Trace bracket onto a piece of cardboard with knob portion facing to the rear of the vehicle. Drill from the top into the inside of the cubby after finding your preferred location with the cardboard mock up. I used a small zip tie to secure it and it works as long as you don’t pull it towards you when driving.

Perfect bass and volume attenuation. This is a must have, makes dialing in the perfect amount of bass for each song easy. Connected to a kicker CXA 800.1 pushing one comp R 12 wired down to 2 ohms.

It worked great, small and discreet easy to cut a hole in the dash to mount it
