Great tool with great insulated handles

I replaced an older version of this tool and I am extremely satisfied with this updated channel lock plier. There are Many applications and uses for this product.

If your going to spend this much please consider knipex.. they are better. But other than that probably the most comfortable channel locks out there

Very nice and this one, the one I ordered directly from Amazon as opposed to a third party, has handles just recently made in the USA (metal portion has always been made in the USA). I do know that for a period of time, code blue handles were outsourced. The photo illustrates the new version. I think the outsourced version does not have red spanning the length of the handles. I was worried I would receive one of the old stock "foreign" versions.......not so. Thanks Amazon! Changed my rating. After some light use, one of the Made in the USA grips slid off exposing the very tiny (less than a quarter pea) glue point that attached the grips to the metal. Oh well, I guess USA made doesn't always mean top notch quality although I'm still hopeful that most are.
