I waited to write this review until we actually had them for Thanksgiving dinner. First time growing parsnips, but I've always loved them. Everything I read about parsnips said they are hard to germinate. I think every single seed germinated. I grew these in a 40 gallon grow bag. After harvesting I weighed them just for the heck of it. 4 lb from one packet. Waited for a few frosts, roasted them with carrots and a little duck oil that I found a recipe for. They were a hit! I will definitely purchase again from this farm.I'm going to order for the third year in a row. This time I will order for my family also. Have had great success!!

didn't sprout
Don't think there were 50 seeds in the pkg . There were no instructions so I had to go to the website to find out. Followed them exactly and none of them sprouted. When I contacted the company for replacement they tried to blame it on my soil, growing conditions or incorrect planting. I see many other reviewers had the same issue so it's not just my bad luck

I’ve grown parsnips successfully in the past from seeds I got at the big box store, I was unable to find the seeds this time around so I ordered them here instead. It’s the first time I’ve had non of the seeds sprout. Avoid these seeds
