Ordered 8-piece stone set and received 7-piece set with hair
At a glance, these stones seem like they will be nice. I agree with other reviews that the pictures in the ad are misleading with regard to their shape and size, however their actual shape and size still seems ideal. Unfortunately, I'll be returning the set I received in exchange for another as mine arrived with an open box, a stone missing, and a hair attached to one of the stones. If the new set arrives intact with 8 hairless stones, I'll be sure to update. As for the mystery hair, I'll be submitting it to a true crimes podcast for further investigation...

They absorb the heat nicely and maintain comfortable temperature My husband gets relief
I bought these for my husband. He has problems with his hands ( pain and spasms in his palms). Recently on an Alaskan Cruise/land tour he had a manicure and the manicurist gave him these stones to hold in his hands. They were quite effective. Needless to say he wanted them. Speaking to a masseuse it was suggested to get just the stones and use a small crock pot to heat them Do this with your product. They absorb the heat nicely and maintain comfortable temperature My husband gets relief; he’s happy and so... am I 😊Thanks

Lose heat too quickly. Not satisfied.
They do not retain heat very well. They are scalding hot at first and as soon as they cool enough to be usable without burning you, they rapidly lose heat and only have 60-90 seconds of use. Would not buy again.

You cannot go wrong with these
My 10 year old runs a “spa” out of her room to earn money. Since I’m the only paying customer and she loves the stones when we get pedicures, I got these “for her”... I’m so glad I did! They are really wonderful after 25 minutes in the crock pot, the little lays them on my back (after massage oil) and rubs until she’s tired. Great buy!

nice idea
Had 2 break by the second use. My husband bought them for us for a romantic massage night after having them used during a massage. Nice idea, but they seem a bit gimmicky to me. The weight is nice, but personally prefer the heated rice bag which is easier to use and maintains heat better. (For real heat therapy, I'll stick with a heating pad.) These are more elegant and make the massage feel special, but probably better for a spa, where they can keep hot water by the massage area and change out the stones as they cool. The stone themselves are not as flat as they look in the picture.
