Q: Would this be a good fabric for making napkins?

I wouldn't use it for napkins. It's a bit too light weight and wrinkles.

Q: would this fabric be good for curtains?

You could most definitely use it for curtains. However, I would wash & dry it before cutting AND it may well need to be pressed after laundering. I use spray sizing when pressing. It produces a nice finish and helps with getting clean cuts. Good luck!

Q: Is this fabric soft enough to make sheets?

Yes, but the width may be a little small. The fabric is a very good quality, I have used it several times and I really like the quality of the fabric and how it feels.

Q: Is this fabric good for beginner level embroidery? Also, I want to make sure its not for cross-stitching.

It is 100% cotton and is great for embrodery. Konami is a quality product. Be sure you get enough to stretch on a hoop. Don't try to embroder without a hoop if you want your material to lay flat. I don't know about cross stitching. But, it would probably work for that also. Good luck with your project!
