This griddle was an awesome accessory to have on our camping trip and it made it just in time! It is extremely simple to use, just switch out the grill plate for the griddle plate. So far we have used it to cook on one weekend long camping trip. On this trip it was used for bacon, eggs (scrambled and over easy), grilled cheese, potatoes, and buttered toast! Also, clean up is simple and quick, because it has a non stick surface. It is truly WONDERFUL!!!! I highly recommend purchasing this to go with your road trip grill, because it really does make for an easier trip when you are able to cook normal foods on the go! *UPDATE- My husband swears by this thing, he has decided to get another for the other side and mostly use them. He has been cooking our steaks, burgers, hotdogs, salmon, and pancakes on them since camping. He said it cooks much more evenly than the grill and cleans up easier, too. After cooking with a lot of butter or grease he just pours water on the hot griddle and scrubs it with the grill brush and it is good as new!
