Q: will these work with the 1"x1" single profile extrusion?

I have not seen a 1"x1", I used these for 20mmx20mm that's what I ordered. That's pretty much all they will fit. I've only seen 20x20 and 30x30. One inch is in between at 25.4mm. I would double check the extrusion dimensions. Not saying you haven't. I've just not seen it in that size. But, I really love how these things look and work. Very clean.

Q: will the work in the 80/20 25 series (25mmx25mm - little over 6mm for slot) extrusions?

Yes; that's why I got it: to build an enclosure around a 3D printer.

Q: Is the 40 series structural strong enough to hold the weight of two adults as a box bed for a trailer?

Dear sir Normally it's ok.We use it built a firm base for the washing machine.But it depends on a lot of things.

These parts are absolutely necessary if you're building with 2020 aluminum extrusions, which I will be now that I've discovered how much easier it is than building with bar stock
