Raimondi Smart Grout Cleaning System and Sponge

I heard about this product from “perkins brother builders” on YouTube. It was hailed as a time saver. It did not disappoint. I am doing a gut renovation on my kitchen and mudroom abs have backsplash and the mudroom floor to do. I took care of the floor and this made the process go fast by not having to change water as often. It’s got an inset grid that helps pull the grout off the sponge and then fall to the bottom of the container then you use the rollers to further press the water out of the sponge. A great piece of equipment to invest in if you have multiple tiling projects coming up.

You’ll need to learn how to use this product. Wring out the sponge on the rollers at just the right angle to squeeze out the excess water. The sponge might tear on accident while you’re learning. I’d have a replacement sponge head on hand to ensure a full day of productivity. If you don’t tear the sponge it’ll last a long time before needing to be replaced.

I’m looking forward using this product and eliminating wringing out sponges all day everyday. Lol Seems to be a good quality product.

This is a must if you want to grout anything...this invention is awesome!!! Save me so much time with water changing... it made me want to re-grout the entire house lol

I bought this to try when installing a terracotta floor in my addition. It works but not exceptional enough to warrant the expense. About half way through my floor i switched back to my tried and true regular grout sponge and bucket. Plus these little springs they give you that mount on the ends of the rollers just keep falling out! So if you dont mind spending close to $100 instead of $3 on a regular grout sponge then this might be for you but i found no real advantage in time savings or quality of work.
