Buy it!
This is a durable, sound plastic trumpet (pun intended!). I bought this as a gift for my son. He has gotten so much joy from playing it. He often bring it outdoors and scares the neighbors with how loud it is. We had questions about if it was worth it to get a plastic trumpet over brass. The answer is: its cheaper, still sounds nice, and helps him to learn the instrument before purchasing expensive brass. This is totally worth the smaller investment, and its not cheap. I have rough boys, and they have not broken it! If you are considering purchasing, buy it!

Fun Novelty!
This is a pretty fun little novelty. No...it does not sound like my vintage Bach Stradivarius, but it's not meant to. It's basically a plastic tube with valves. The valves on this trumpet are sticky, but a little valve oil rubbed directly on the valves helped a ton. The plastic mouthpieces (2) that come with this trumpet are horrible, but it will accommodate a traditional mouthpiece. The mouthpiece receptor is VERY rough and WILL scratch the shank of your mouthpiece. Because I use this plastic trumpet for "fun" vs. performance, I use a cheap mouthpiece with the Pampet vs. my daily, more expensive mouthpiece. It has been fun switching back and forth between my Bach and the Pampet to see how clear and close I can get the sounds. It's a good challenge for any good trumpet player and for $60 it was a fun toy to get! I might even try practicing in the shower! Ha Ha!!

Must buy if you’re on a budget
Overall I’d say if you want to buy a beginning player a trumpet but don’t have a budget to buy an expensive one, buy this plastic one. There are a few imperfections such as slow valves (I think maybe some valve oil can fix) and the sound quality as well as having leaks and imperfections on the valves. It isn’t a bad horn tho, I’d recommended and sounds like an actual trumpet despite being made of plastic! Keep in mind you do get what you paid for and this is not a professional horn. It comes with a gig bag and 2 plastic mouth pieces and the horn itself but I recommend getting a brass mouth piece so you can feel the vibration, the plastic one just isn’t as good.

Great starter trumpet for younger musicians
Great product with great materials. I was surprised with the sound as this is the first plastic one I purchased. I bought it for my 5 year as he expressed interest. This gives him the same look, feel, and functionality without the crazy price of brass. He loves it and I was able to even use it showing him a thing or two. I highly recommend and enjoy the purchase.

Toy trumpet that can make a few notes
This plastic trumpet is mostly a novelty item under $75 and can't really be used as an instrument. When playing the basic scale, it sounds ok from C to C, but low G sounds dead and high D and above goes out of tune. It might be ok for a very beginning beginner to see if they even want to play a trumpet, and that is basically why we bought it. Of course, we also bought a Bach 7C. The plastic mouthpiece should be thrown out.

Good starter trumpet.
Bought for my granddaughter. She loves it. Nice quality for plastic. I was genuinely surprised. It did arrive missing a part, but customer service was wonderful. We had the missing part within a week. I would recommend.
