I use these bags for caramel corn. I purchased the brown bags. They can hold up to 6-7 ozs no problem. I did a test on 1 bag to see if the butter would soak through. Nope! Left the popcorn in there for a week and not one food stain. I will say… that after the test period, the popcorn was stale. So.. I do use a clear food-safe bag inside and the popcorn does remain fresh for a good 7 days.

These bags are so good, I have purchased more than once and in different sizes. Nevertheless it’s safe to say I will continue to purchase.Great quality, appearance and presentation is A1.P.S I use these bags for my cookies.

***Review update -I’m upgrading my review because of customer service. The company quickly contacted me and offered to replace the order or refund the cost. They were very apologetic and helpful with the replacement. So far, the seal on the new bags are intact. I will be checking each one before I put my labels on though. Thanks for the great customer service, BagDream!***I have been using these bags for a year now to bag my granola that I sell at farmers’ markets. Normally, they’re fine and I’ve been happy with them. This past order was defective. The seams were not sealed properly (see attached photos). I prelabel my bags so they’re ready to go when I need them. So many of my expensive vinyl logo labels were wasted because the defect in the bags were not apparent until I filled them with granola. My photos don’t even show all the bags I had to throw away and I still haven’t finished checking the hundreds of bags I prelabeled. I had to re-bag a bunch of my granola after inspecting the bags closet of my finished product. So much wasted which is huge for my little home based business.

I researched and specifically purchased these bags for my granola business because other reviews claimed the plastic lining would not allow oil to come through and show on the paper. We'll is does and it's not just one poorly made bag; they all do this within 24 hrs of adding the product. If you need it for something dry you'll be fine but otherwise look elsewhere or you'll be stuck with 100 poorly lined bags.Other than the lining, I really liked the look of the bags. They were sturdy and set up well even before adding my product. Wish they would have worked for me.

Despite what the product description specifically claims about using these bags for butter cookies, these bags are definitely not grease proof. The attached photo is of our standard chocolate butter cookies that have been in the bag for less than two days, and the oils have seeped through horribly. We spend more money replacing these bags with fresh ones than we save by the lower item cost. Don't waste your money; these window bags are not appropriate for packaging butter cookies.
