SECOND UPDATE: I bought this unit because the mechanical timers break within 6 months on the cheaper Enerzen units. So I expected this unit to last. Used it for two hours per day in my bedroom (closed off after waking up). Within one year (almost to the day) this model quit working. I ordered a replacement ceramic plate and installed it. The base of the structure that houses the plate began to spark and burn. So I'm out the cost of the replacement plate AND I had to trash the unit.That's it for me. It doesn't matter how much you spend, no matter what Enerzen model you buy, they last about a year. Either you buy the cheap models with the timers that fail (although I WAS able to successfully replace an 800 model plate). Or you can buy the more expensive model that burns up after a year. Your choice.ALSO I should add that when I opened it up, there was an oily substance in the ozone machine. I have learned (from this experience as well as reading) if you consistently use an ozone machine in an area where there is furniture fabricated using petroleum compounds, the ozone will break down (liquefy) the furniture. Which explains what the oily substance was in the machine and on the headboard of my bed.I'm going to replace this product with a BlueAir or Winix auto air filter.If you're going to temporarily eliminate odors (like clearing a room of a bothersome tobacco smell after a party), then an ozone machine is the way to go. However, it is NOT the best choice for daily purification of the air in your bedroom or anywhere else.I will still give this product 5 stars because it's not the seller's fault that I used this product in a way which was unsuitable to the task.UPDATE: Vendor DID respond in a timely fashion. Changed my rating to 5 stars.ORIGINAL REVIEW:I used to own an O-888. This unit is MUCH better. BUT the ceramic plate has failed and there are NO plates for this model offered on Amazon. In the questions, someone said "reach out to the vendor" and I have done that tonight. (Waiting on a response).WHY do I have to contact the vendor? Why aren't there replacement plates for this model ALREADY DISPLAYED on Amazon? Contacting the vendor is an UNNECESSARY and frustrating PITA.

It works great, but make sure you know what you are doing and be careful. This machine produces ozone which can severely harm anything that breathes oxygen. If you use it in your car, look up videos. You should NOT put it inside your car or it won't have oxygen to convert. We had to treat a used car we bought that had been smoked in a lot. It took several long treatments in the hot sun to finally get it all out. We also use this is the house. Not only does he eliminate musty old house odors, but it kills insects! BONUS! Make sure no one (people, animals, or plants) breathes in the ozone gas. We'll use it spring and fall to keep the old house smell at bay here in the humid south.

Running it overnight after wiping down the walls, cleaning the carpets, and sanitizing various surfaces proved to be a game-changer.After a single overnight session with the Enerzen O-922D was all it took to completely eliminate the stubborn odors. The air felt noticeably fresher, and the cat and smoke smell were gone.I was truly impressed with this ozone generator. I highly recommend it.

unit works. The manual that came with this model is useless it does not tell you how to set this thing up at all. By doing different testing I did find the settings correctly. For example i still do not know why it even offers a fan speed. I just set the fan to max each time. the room size aka how long you want to run the unit for increase every 15mins. Max time is 12hr. so you have to press it many times over and over to get to max 12HR run time.As soon as the unit is turned on it will start to beep. It is a warning count down of 30sec. The fan will start as soon as it is powered on, but the unit is not making any ozone till after the 30 secs.Many people have noticed an error code e001 or maybe e0001. from I can tell it is because the unit is moved. It must have some kind of sensor inside that detect movement of the unit when it is on. just power the unit off and back on should clear the code.

Eliminates all odors! Does leave behind a pretty strong chemical ozone smell which is expected but that means it’s working. Bought initially because we had a leak and mildew on some Sheetrock to kill and de-oxidize the room. Worked beautifully. A couple weeks after I Had a low budget carpet cleaner come to the basement after a party. I don’t know what they did before my house but left behind a foul wet dog/mop water mildew smell all over my carpet! I was furious but set this up to run for an hour and a half and the basement after air out was back to normal. Followed up with my own cleaning and deodorizer to then get rid of the ozone smell now it’s perfect.

Bought this and another more expensive version to help get rid of the smoke smell after a small fire.This version put out more Ozone and was used in conjunction with the other after a week or two, no smell is detectible.A warning, Ozone will affect some rubber and break it down. I noticed it on a two items we had, nothing of importance. Some rubber gaskets used for grip got wrecked...cost just a few bucks to replace, so worth that cost. The area is a 64 foot by 32 foot shop, so there is a lot of other rubber objects.

Used it twice for a few hours each time when I bought it, stored it in a climate-conditioned environment in its box for about a year and a half. Was moving my son out of his apartment which smelled and needed it again. Fan worked, ozone not at all. Plates were not close to expiration. Wish I had paid attention to the other commenters before making this pricy purchase.
