This is an amazing little tool to have at home! Did you know that certain coffees and teas need to be brewed at specific temperatures? Well now you do! We have been using this to check the water temperature in the kettle on the stove before making coffee/tea, and it's so useful! The size is perfect to place into the nozzle of the kettle and all you do is watch the meter go up/down to your desired water temp. Highly recommend if you want good coffee/tea!

Really good thermometer, good quality, the reading doesn’t stick like cheaper versions (which I initially bought and returned), and the clip for the milk jug is strong and still grips well after a few weeks use. Could be less expensive though. Fits a small and medium milk jug well. The green shading is a good clear indicator for not overheating milk and to get it just right.

I read a lot of reviews before deciding on this thermometer and I am glad I did. It is robust (I know because I have dropped it onto laminate flooring more than once). The audible signal is a boon. After all you are juggling hot milk, hotter steam and needing one hand on the jug while being ready to turn off the steam at the right time with the other hand so you don't need to be twisting kneck and/or wrist to read the display. Being able to set the desired temperature once then leave it saves time. The thermometer has an excellent sprung metal clip which holds it firmly on my stainless steel jug. Cleaning is easy with just a little extra care needed if you get milk on the clip. Above all else the accuracy and sensitivity achieved is way better than you can hope for with a mechanical thermometer. I have found that this thermometer provides excellent results every time. At first I didn't want to pay the extra but I had just spent a lot of money on a great coffee maker. It would have made no sense to save ten quid on this and waste good coffee by overheating the milk.
