I purchased the 200lb pair not knowing if I’d be able to close it or not. I’ve been bodybuilding for 12 years but never focused on grip very much. I could almost close it but not quite, so I ordered the 150lbs which I can close all the way for about 5 reps which is perfect. It had a few slight visual imperfections, but I don’t care about the cosmetics as long as it functions. The 200lb pair looked pristine. The knurling is rough and I prefer it that way, I have calloused hands so it doesn’t affect me and it ensures that it never slips. It would hurt those with soft hands but your hands will adapt. I’m satisfied with both of my purchases from this company and will hopefully be purchasing the heavier resistance grips that they offer in the near future.
