This plastic apothecary jar looked like real glass but gives me peace of mind since it’s made of solid thick plastic. I worry about real glass around my kids. It’s in my daughter’s room filled with candy and it created a cute look. This is highly giftable especially if you add in some goodies. The packaging was sturdy. Great buy, and I’ll likely buy more!

I purchased this jar to share treats at my desk with a little more style than a standard bowl. I started with Lindor milk chocolate truffle balls, and the clear acrylic really highlights the deep red and shiny foil of the truffles. The gasket fits very tightly, so I ended up removing it to make it easier to retrieve the goodies inside the jar, but I'm sure that airtight seal will be great for more perishable goods. The diamond design along the bottom edge of the jar portion adds a classy touch and makes the jar seem like it could be glass even when viewed quite closely, and the base is nice and sturdy. I would definitely recommend this item.
