I bought these to put mineral oil on a wood cutting board. The different brand I bought previously, quickly came unglued. These seem to be holding up a lot better.

I looked locally to find foam daubers and could not, so back to Amazon to get just what I needed. This four pack is inexpensive and just right for applying different colors of shoe polish.

As described, it’s a foam applicator that works.

Item works fine as designed

I purchased these applicators to use with leather dye and try to achieve a more uniform look than I would with a wool dauber. For the first several passes they were wonderful, however the adhesion of the sponge to the red plastic handle failed within minutes and I ended up using all three in the package before completing my project. I would recommend a regular dye applicator sponge if you are using an alcohol-based product. I imagine that for paint these would produce a wonderful result but beware the adhesion of the sponge is not very good.

These are handy for applying finish & maintenance products to your boots, or shoes. We store them in a plastic bag which keeps them ready for the next use.
