Expensive, but very well made.
Tripp Lite just makes a great product. This was no exception. I had to get a power strip that mounted in a rack. This one had no special bells or whistles other than a long and heavy cord (which I did need). IT cost as much as some products with surge protection or several switches and more outlets. I needed to pick one out in a hurry, so I stayed with what I knew would work, Tripp Lite.

Well made, well designed product,
Using these in our server racks. Great product, well made, and offers good protection against accidentally switching the PDU off. Of course you should be using these in conjunction with a good quality UPS. There are two versions of this, front and rear facing. We use the front facing version because that puts the plugs in the best position.

Solid and compact
There is nothing I disliked about this 6 outlet front facing power strip. In fact, I was happy to see that it is even shorter than the photos elude. I was also concerned that the plugs wouldn't be tight enough given the price and I was prepared to replace them with higher quality ones but my plugs fit in solidly.

Great product, LONG cord
The cord is a bit too long and thick... causing disruption to me outside my rack. But it is likely as described and the thickness likely represents QUALITY. I'd definitely buy one again if needed, but with a shorter cord.

Great buy.
Tripp Lite makes a good solid product. Been using them for over a year since my first power supply and no issues.

Feels solid but the cord is way too long
After purchasing this I'm not quite sure why it has a 15' long cord. I couldn't find a reputable brand that has anything shorter. I erred on the side of caution and went with this one because Tripp Lite is a great brand for build quality and safety. I do however disagree with how expensive it was and really wish a different length cord was offered. 15" seems to excessive when most of these are plugged directly into a UPS just 1u slow below or above it.

Not my first one
The Tripp Lite Power strip was bought for an additional rack, but I ended up needing it to support another Tripp Lite in another CISCO rack environment. Works as intended without fail, one my issues with power strips is the lack of heavy duty plugs, wire and length of cable- which is not even a problem here. I am using this and another in a 7' rolling rack and I have no issue moving the rack without fear of unplugging anything during configuration or while working between work stations.

It's a rackmount power strip
Hey it's a power strip. And it works. I've ordered Tripp Lite power strips before and have had no problems with them at all. I have some with outlets on both front and back, but this one has them only on the back. Depending on what your install is, one will work better than the other. It looks clean in the rack, and the power cord was plenty long. We're using it to power down an "always on" designed video switcher with really noisy cooling fans. Can't say much else, other then I would buy again, and the shipping was ridiculously fast.

Perfect for my 6U cabinet
Tripp-Lite quality, as expected. No front plugs, which I didn't need.
