Summit 116-12 Quick Kill Mosquito

This stuff works on house plants!! Used it to get rid of gnats and worked great!!

I recently tried Mosquito Bits in my enclosed terrarium, where I was dealing with a massive gnat problem. With reptiles in the mix, I needed a solution that was both effective and safe. I’m thrilled to report that Mosquito Bits delivered fantastic results!The convenience of simply soaking the bits, spraying the solution, and letting it work it's magic was a huge plus. I applied it twice over the course of two weeks, and I noticed a remarkable decrease in gnat activity. This product targets the larvae in the soil, which was perfect for my situation.Within those two applications, I saw a significant reduction in the thousands of gnats that had taken over my terrarium. It’s reassuring to know that I could address the issue without harming my reptiles.Overall, Mosquito Bits is an excellent solution for anyone struggling with gnats or other pests in a terrarium. It’s easy to use, highly effective, and has given me peace of mind in maintaining a healthy environment for my reptiles. I highly recommend it!I did combine with the yellow sticky traps during the day when I knew my geckos would not be active, to target the adult gnats as well.

I bought this product to help with fungus gnats in potted house plants. The product works by using BTI bacteria added to a carrier material that always reminded me of crushed peanuts or something, you can see it in the picture. It does work well if directions are followed, you need to soak in water for 30 minutes and then skim off the floating bits. I run the solution through strainer to remove the rest of the bits that didn’t float. This is where I have my sole issue with the product as if you do not remove all of the mosquito bits from the water, they will clog most types of watering cans. If the carrier material was crushed to a powder this wouldn’t be as big of an issue. But overall as a relatively inexpensive and accessible pest control method I would recommend the product.

Get this product if you have fungus gnats in your plants! I have paid double the cost for a liquid solution to get rid of fungus gnats in my household plants but a friend recommended this produce which works just as well if not better! It does take 3-4 treatments (I did weekly) because it kills the larva whereas adult gnats are somewhat resistant. I also soaked the pellets in water for a full 24 hours before applying to plants. This solved the heaviest infestations I have ever had and my plants remain happy :-) Will definitely continue to use this in the future!

I use these to stop bugs from laying eggs in the top soil of my indoor plants. I have had no problems with bugs since starting to use these. They will grow a bit of mold if left wet and uncovered on soil but if you add them to hot water, strain them out, and use that water to water your plants it is super effective while keeping the aesthetic of your plants looking nice. It has lasted me a long time and I still have a bunch left. I will by buying more when I run out

I don’t write reviews often so I hope this helps someone. The first time I soaked the granules 30 minutes for fungus, gnats, and watered my plant. This did nothing. The plant had just been watered so I think it was too much water. I let the plant dry out completely. Repeated thtreatment. The second time I let the granules soak for several hours. The next day there were no gnats and it has been three days and they have not returned. I plan to treat the plant again in a week.Update: Gnats returned, I treated for a third time, and they still have not completely gone away.

These Quick Kill Mosquito Bits are a lifesaver! I use them in standing water around my yard — birdbaths, planters, and even puddles — and they work fast and effectively. Within a day or two, I noticed a huge drop in mosquito activity.

Decent sized bag. I use this to make a mosquito tea for my plants when needed. I don't notice any smell and it seems to kill all the right bugs.
