I am writing this review in case anyone was wondering (like me) exactly what would fit in this thing. First of all, I can tell you the external dimensions seem accurate. Otherwise it wouldn’t fit so perfectly snugly in the very narrow space I had allotted for it. But secondly, LOOK at those acrylics! Those are all the standard little 2 fl oz bottles you can find at any generic craft store. I am not much of a painter but I AM a crafter and I have been accumulating these bottles for years without appropriate storage. I bought one of these boxes in hopes it would work and it works EXACTLY to fit the bottles lengthwise in the base. You can also fit a few more in the top, but I have some other paint tubes and such I figured I’d put up there since I have enough additional 2oz acrylics to justify a second box.The one caveat to the perfect sizing is on the lid. Where the handle sits it indents into the lid. That is why I have even my shallower oil paint bottles laid sideways in that section (something they have had no trouble doing in the past, so no worries). Something like paintbrushes would have no trouble at all with this indent and neither do 2oz acrylic bottles or the bottle of glaze I have in that spot right now, but it is worth noting since my larger tubes and bottles absolutely cannot fit in that space.I can’t speak for the durability of this product yet since it’s only just arrived. The latches snap securely. The handle lifts a full box and doesn’t strain at all under the weight. I haven’t noticed any whitening where the clear plastic is weakening, yet, but I’ve only started futzing with it today. With the size as exactly perfect as it is for my needs, even if it did break I might just duct tape the sucker and call it good lol. But I know not everyone feels the same about that. But as of right now I have no concerns about breakage.Hope this helps!

My son picked this to hold his art supplies. The quality was amazing. It was so easy for my son to open and organize all his items in it. I would say it is probably really versatile to where you could use it for many other things.

Nice size to keep my brushes and tubes of watercolor paint organized and ready to go.

It's a good storage container & nice design. I like the style of the container and it's easy to use. It does seal completely when closes. Great for organizing my hair accessories. I do wish it was a little bigger length wise.

Good quality container for art supplies. I always like the Artbin containers. Bought it for daughter’s painting supplies but had to return because it was a bit small for her needs and it’s not lockable. Easy return. Great customer service!!

This box was smaller than I expected, but in a good way. It was the perfect size for small acrylic paints (2oz bottles). I have about 20 bottles that all fit laying sideways. The tray is perfect for brushes and can fit 1 or 2 bottles (also laying horizontally).. And the handle is great for travel. Good price for value!

For a storage case that costs $21.47 including tax, you’re better off buying a 16” Stanley tool box for the same price from Home Depot as you’d get more storage room and more compartments for the same price. The artbin case is durable but the removable tray is quite shallow. If you’re planning to put something heavy like stamping tools on the tray, it’ll be a hassle to lift it up. It seems durable and well made without any cosmetic defects, handles and two clips on the front seem solid. Overall if you’re looking for a compact storage case to put lightweight items this would be a good option.
