I was looking for menthol oil to make my own oils to rub on skin, especially for tired muscles. Well, this oil completely exceeded my expectations! It smells delicious, and it is long-lasting. Sore and tired muscles? This oil helps take the pain away. I even tried it on my daughter when she had a migraine and couldn't sleep. It was the only thing that gave her relief enough to get some rest. Then, when I had an earache, I rubbed some on the inside of my ear (not down in the canal). Instant pain relief.This is now a staple in my house! I will never be without it again.

Received in the mail today packaged well. I love the smell of menthol, but this particular one is not as strong as crystal menthol. I use this to make homemade essential oil products, and to burn in my oil burner as well as diffusing. This is a good product for those purposes. If you're looking for menthol that's much stronger and powerful for therapeutic purposes, then I recommend getting crystal menthol.
