Italian Grading Hoe 7 x 10 Inch Head, with 41 Inch Handle

I used one of these years ago working for a landscaper/nursery. We called them Italian grape-hoes. I'm glad I finally have my own. This seems to be a sturdy tool and fairly ergonomic. I just used it to dig out a forsythia stump (I used the pick axe too and a shovel too). It's great for digging up grass also.

This thing is awesome, it is the perfect length for MOST things for a 6 ft tall guy. i occasionally wish it was longer to reach a little further, but the compromise for "perfect ergonomic" is that you cant reach out as far. I can beat the crap out of the ground with this thing for ever and i will tire out before i break it. It is also reasonably light for how robust it is.

I used this to remove grass/weeds in my garden. Such a easy tool to use and a landscaper I hired agreed. Worth every penny.

The handle is really too short to get the appropriate leverage to use this tool properly and effectively. I find myself hunching over to use this hoe. I'm ~5' 8" tall. The quality of the handle is great, but a bit disappointed that the head/blade is made in China.

This is the right tool for the job it was intended.
