Dell Latitude 7390 2-in-1 Laptop
Received the laptop a week after I ordered it, 3 days earlier than the projected date.Day 1: Received Dell Latitude 7390 2 in 1. Looked brand new out of the box. The 65w charger even looked brand new. Booted right up to Windows 10 Pro. Tested a few things and all worked great. I did notice that the 256GB M.2 drive was reporting 467GB so I suspected some form of drive compression but couldn’t figure out what software was being used to do so. Decided to order new 1TB M.2 drive just because.Day 2: Decided to upgrade to Windows 11. Went fine and Windows 11 worked well. Then came time to update to Windows 11 22H2 and this was when the fun started. Half way through the update the screen went blank. I let everything run for about an hour or so, still nothing so I decided to shut it down – nothing. I had to actually open the laptop up and disconnect the battery to get it to turn off.Tried to do a clean install of Windows 10 but I could not delete the existing partitions to do so using the Windows 10 installation USB drive. Rebooted and used BIOS to do a secure erase of the M.2 drive. Clean install of Windows 10 then went flawlessly.Played around with it for a couple days, installed some apps to see how things worked while awaiting the new drive and everything worked as it should and only 256GB was detected on the M.2 drive now as it should be.Day 4: Received new 1TB M.2 SATA drive. Replaced 256GB drive and installed Windows 10. All good. Decided to try a clean install of Windows 11, again all good. Tried update to Windows 11 22H2. Update was not so good but still did update. I think there might be an issue with drivers specifically with the video driver, not the laptop’s fault. Did another clean install of Windows 10 and updated to Windows 10 22H2.I have been using the laptop for almost 3 weeks now and have had no issues. Love the Windows Hello face recognition login.A few things I noticed when I had the laptop opened up:- Was very clean inside- Had the larger 65Wh battery- Had the WWAN module installed (maybe at a later date will see if it will work with Verizon's network)- Did notice that the thermal pad on the M.2 drive had a chunk missing but I replaced it anyway when I replaced the drive.- No thumb reader (didn’t figure it would have that)All in all I am very happy with it so far. Really can’t beat the price. Also the screen is so crisp. It is a bit heavy when trying to read a book in bed but I knew it would be. Battery life appears really good though the longest I have had it on battery is 3 hours and the battery indicator still showed a lot of battery left.

Great specs for the price, and just super fun to use
I was looking for a smaller notebook with a touch screen, but many were rather expensive for what they offered. This Dell seemed too good to be true. 8th gen i5 and a generous16gb memory. SSD is not huge, but certainly usable if you're not needing to store tons of videos or large games. Touchscreen is super responsive. It's just fun to use. And if using multiple monitors/external keyboard/mouse, it's great to be able to flip it upright to take up less space. Screen is beautiful as well. I really have zero complaints, especially for that pricetag. And my refurb works fine. A couple keys do need a tiny bit more than normal pressure to press, so I guess that's the only downside. But not worth taking away a star since it's so much in such a cheap pricetag.

Great price, gives hardware a second life, but not perfect
16GB memory, 512GB storage, and a very competent CPU for ~$300 after tax is amazing value. (A new laptop would cost at least $100 more.)But it's a refurbish, alright... It's clean and confirmed functional, but the fingerprint reader didn't really work for me, and the battery life is horrid... It lasts like 3 hours of light use. The good thing is that replacement batteries (K5XWW) are $30-45, and it's very easy to replace, so you'll still come out quite ahead!Ultimately, giving old hardware a new life is good for both your wallet and the environment, so I recommend doing it. 5/5 stars minus 1 for the hassle of needing to replace the battery.

So far so good
Nice little unit. So far pretty much what I expected and works for what I want it for (browsing, setting up 3d printing files, and light CAD). It runs fusion 360 but it's not super happy about it, but for the small parts I design it's fine. It has plenty of RAM but the graphics is on the lower end. Battery life seems good so far and is adequate for me. Even though I haven't needed to I've use it without it plugged in for a couple of hours and it didn't go below 50% battery.

Amazon support stinks, Laptop Battery is Dead !
Do NOT buy this computer from this provider. The battery does not hold a charge overnight. I've only had the laptop about six weeks. All this company did was bought a whole bunch of computers, cleaned them up, reloaded stick OS software and put it in a box. I should have bought local! The computer itself is good, but the battery is dead. It will not hold a charge. When I contacted Amazon support, the only option was to return the computer. Problem is I've purchased Microsoft office suite and my personal files are already on this one. If they determine it is better to ship out a replacement unit, then I'm out the software. They won't repair the unit nor send a replacement battery (replacing a battery in this laptop is a feature that one can do on their own.) I paid extra for the extended warranty and do not want them to say I voided their warranty as they will not replace the battery. This is why one should not buy any refurbished product, al thought this one "came from Dell", I doubt this unit was refurbished by Dell as they should have bench tested the battery before shipping!

Super disappointing!
Didn't really get a chance to use this laptop. It arrived today and I spent about 45 minutes getting it ready to be my computer when I realized the speakers don't work. They are either so low, set at max,you can't hear them or its so full of static and distortion you can't even understand what's being said, or no sound at all. Returning. Hopefully replacement works as promised.
