But these pans because of a referral from a friend and to replace the Copper Chef plans that had become too scratched to use anymoreI hang my pants on the wall, and these are sturdy, light weight, easy to clean and look nice on the wallMy friend assures me that they will last much longer, but I haven't had enough time to prove that yet

That was a no butter /oil eggs i made first day of purchase, nothing sticks pancakes, cheese, 2 months using it so far, daily use and nothing sticks, make sure the pan is covering the burner or at edge so the handle doesn't heat, but it's a minor detail, never burned my hands.Edit: after 6-7 months the non stick fades, you gotta use oil or butter and starts working as a normal pan, the non scratch is a lie, even tho i used wooden utensil and never used the hard side of sponge it started to stick again, idk if thats the normal lifespan of non stick pans, returning it its a pain since u gotta contact the factory that its on USA so expect long time and shipping fees, amazon didnt accept to refund or replace it

While unpacking this beautiful little cookware set, I acquired a new respect for things made in China. This cookware remains non-stick for a handful of times without using oil. After that, a light oil is needed. The slick strong surface makes cleanup quicker and easier than with most other cookware. Also, the rapid heat conductivity of these sturdy Gotham pots and pans is amazing, so it's definitely a good buy.UPDATE: Recently I was boiling some water in the square pan, when the phone rang. I got into a conversation and forgot I had the burner on high. The water had boiled out, and the empty pan had remained on high heat for nearly an hour! I removed the pan from the stovetop and allowed it to cool.Amazingly the bottom was undamaged. In fact, it looked shiny and brand new! I don't know what kind of miracle metal Gotham uses, but a normal pan would have been destroyed. (I later noticed the bottom of the square pan has a reinforced metal plate unlike the other pan & pot.
