When I first purchased this case for my 10-year-old’s iPad Air, I was worried it might be too delicate to withstand daily use—kids can be pretty rough on things! I bought three cases to find the best one for my iPad Air 5th Generation 10.9 inch. In the end, there was no comparison. That’s probably to be expected when one product costs about 4x as much as the others. Here are the three with a few comments:1. ZUGU CASE for iPad Air (M2) 11 inch (2024) iPad Air 4 & 5 10.9 Inch (2020/2022) - Protective, Ultra Thin, Magnetic Stand, Sleep/Wake Cover - Black $48. This is about 4x the cost of the others, but it is far and away a superior product, and for me, absolutely worth it. It feels tight and very high quality material and workmanship. The case stays open with solid, tight magnets. The pencil holder works well. Everything feels right in the hind and works very well in landscape mode on a table. It’s a high quality case for a high quality device. Everything about this is just far superior.2. Fintie Rotating Case for iPad Air 11-inch M2 (2024), iPad Air 5th Generation (2022) / Air 4th Gen (2020) 10.9 Inch with Pencil Holder - 360 Degree Rotating Protective Stand Cover, Navy 12.79. This is the only case that allows the screen to rotate, and that’s nice if you need portrait mode while it’s sitting on a flat surface. But if you ever plan to read your iPad while holding it, this is a very disappointing choice. In the hand, the whole thing feels completely loose and floppy and thick. I knew within 20 seconds that I would return this product.3. Supveco Case for iPad Air 11 Inch 2024,iPad Air 5th/4th Generation 10.9 Inch 2022/2020 with Pencil Holder-[Auto Wake/Sleep],Premium Folio Stand Soft TPU Back Cover for iPad Air 5/4 Gen-Navy $15. This one is OK. It feels kind of cheap, but I tried it for about two days. During that time the plastic did not smell good (maybe that goes away with time), but it was a dramatic improvement over the Fintie product. It can be held in the hand with just a bit of a loose feel. It would have been tolerable had I not tried the ZUGU case. But once I put the ZUGU on, there was no going back.When I buy a future iPad, I will only buy a model that fits a ZUGU case. It's just that good!

I have only had this iPad case for my new iPad Air for a short time, however I felt compelled to say that I am initially impressed with the quality of this case. I had another case brand on a different iPad and it became frayed around the edges after some use, this one is more robust and has what feels like a rubber surround around it which gives the impression that it will protect the iPad upon the unfortunate slip of hand and it were to crash to the ground. I also like there are to places to store an Apple Pencil on the back and the side. Now the best feature I like is the magnetic stand that has 8 different angles to use and when it’s on your lap you don’t have to worry about it slipping and falling flat on your lap, you put it to the spot you want it and it stays, just watch the video on the Amazon web page. It is also a very easy install and works with the current screen protector I have on. While it is a bit pricey this thing will probably outlive the iPad.

For me, this could not be more perfect. I tried several others and this was it. It adds strength and protects from shock while practically disappearing, adding almost no thickness to my iPad. It give me a firm grip on the pad (the iPad itself is way too slippery, almost like they want it to slide out of your hand), and I love the feel. I love everything about this case: the feel, the protection, the look (black), the pencil slot, the reinforcement against bending. So happy with this.

Really sturdy. I love the magnetic elements. It can even hang on the fridge which is helpful for following a recipe when cooking. It has several heights to stand up and holds well because of the magnets. It’s a perfect case I expect to last a long time.
