I use Nordic Naturals EPA products for mental health. I was told that EPA reduces brain inflammation and the reduction in inflammation reduces depression and anxiety in people still having symptoms with medication use. My mood has been drastically i.proved since the 3rd day after I started taking EPA in July 2020. I have since started giving it to my 10 year old whom has ADHD, ODD, and anxiety. His mood has been substantially elevated, and his meltdowns and extreme reactions have declined. I now have my mother taking it. She also reports feeling "human again". I highly recommend Birdiv Naturals EPA products to anyone and everyone. The quality is consistently good, and the impact to my health is as well.

I normally receive this product from my naturopath but needed a refill and couldn't make it in. So I know what this product should be like. The pills in the bottle I reviewed were not only all glommed and stuck together, but they reek like fish oil. As I said, I get this product from my naturopath and it does not smell bad. This indicates to me that this seller either has old product or is not storing it properly. This product was ordered in the winter therefore shipping temperatures should not have been an issue.

This is a product I have used for a long time and the product is great! Typically no fishy smell or taste. However, this shipment has not lived up to the standard. In the past week or so, I've noticed a fishy smell when I take my capsules. Today, I dumped out the entire bottle and found a broken empty capsule at the bottom and the entire bottom inside of the bottle was coated with the contents. QA failed on this batch. The rest of the capsules are fine and I'll continue to take them. I'll just have to plug my nose and swallow fast. I hope the QA process gets reviewed otherwise, these won't be worth the price, in my opinion.

If you have not heard EPA lowers your LDL by enhancing how HDL works to combat LDL levels. They made some research in Japan and found that a sector of the population had lower LDL levels in a certain community and they found that the ones with lower levels had a certain fish common in their diet a couple times a week. They isolated the compound which turned out to be EPA. Still expensive to maintain but effective based on research. Still one of the best brands around.

My doctor only recommends this brand. Not fishy when you burp unlike many of the others. Makes a difference in my mood and sleep. Definitely not a placebo. Been taking for years now
