I am a nursing student so I need a pen light for my labs and clinuxals. These pen lights are okay, but I probably won’t purchase again. The light is bright, but almost too bright because a patients complain about it hurting their eyes when I look at their pupils, I mean, it makes things easy for me to see but I don’t want the patient to be uncomfortable. My main problem is that the light always clicks on without me knowing when it’s in my bag or scrubs, so then the battery runs out. If I’m being super nit-picky, I guess I could say they’re also on the heavy side for carrying around in a scrub pocket- nothing crazy, but a lighter one would probably be a little more comfy. Overall they’re decent penlights and, as long as it doesn’t click on without me knowing, I can count on it to work well. Not a bad buy, but I’ll probably just get the cheaper, non-clicker penlights next time.

This penlight works great for what is needed in a clinical setting. It looks nice, comes with two, and has batteries included which is a nice plus!I like the feel and weight of this light, makes it feel sturdy and not entirely cheap like certain penlights.The markings on the penlight themselves are nice. After getting used to these markings, they're not entirely needed, but they are nice to always have on hand as well as for just making sure.My only complaint is the actual durability of the penlight. I have dropped it a few times and it has survived, however, every now and then the light will just simply not turn on or it will turn on but flicker a few times. This has happened even before I dropped it. I will usually need to unscrew the cap and put it back on before it starts working normal again. Might simply be a bad connection to the battery.Overall though, it is a great penlight and definitely worth it at the price.

Pros:-Light is incrediably bright. I've used many others, but this one has been by far the brightest.-Turns on and off with a click of the back, rather than the touch on the clip. I've had issues with clip actuated pen lights with them turning on/off in my pocket and killing the battery, so the actual click portion helps with stopping that for a longer battery life and preventing it from going off accidentally.-Comes in a set of TWO. Which is awesome for the price.-Ruler is relatively accurate and incrediably useful.-Has some weight to it (more than most others), which some may say is bad, but works nicely as it gives you more of a feel for it.Cons:-Only con is that the ones I got were Black, which makes it harder to distinguish pupillary dilation as opposed to black on white.EDIT: -Quality is moderate. When they worked they worked great, but after about 3-4 months they started flickering and refusing to stay on.As far as the seller, the delivery was on time and fast, and packaged neatly so they weren't damaged in transit. Good purchase, will buy again.

As a medical student, I am extremely impressed with how well this penlight works. The light is very bright (but not excessive). It has a thin profile and about as long as a regular pen. The clip is strong and never falls out of my pocket or shifts around. It's awesome that it comes with batteries included and 2 penlights (1 of which you can give to a friend in need). I highly recommend it after using it now for 3 months.P.S. I have dropped it a couple times from about 4 f.t. and it lives! So... it's pretty sturdyEdit: I have now been using this penlight into residency and still works great! I see my other colleagues with extremely expensive penlights and mine works just as well and I don’t have to be concerned about losing it due to cost. Have dropped it multiple times and still keeps ticking. Love the measuring feature for my laceration measurements etc. Loving it still and it continues as my trusty penlight that can be found in my pocket every day!
