This is the only barette design that actually stays put in fine hair. I wish they had fancier, prettier options, but I content myself with adding my own ribbons, etc.My hair has been fine my entire 60+ years. I try other brands from time to time, but this is a classic and I keep returning to it.

My 6 year old granddaughter has thick hair that needs restraining when she is in school. Because her hair is thick the normal barrette for girls were a total joke. My dil leaves for work early and my son is charge of her hair. I’ve got thick hair and was a hairdresser so I knew what she needed. I saw this and knew it would do the job! It has a nice variety of barrettes in package which is great and they are secure when in hair no slipping out. I like them too! They are not all flashy but I don’t mind. Sometimes that ends up looking tacky. These do there job and stay quietly in the back ground. Nice product and cheap!
