The Golden Age Of DC Comics: 365 Days

Qualidade
Gostei de tudo. Uma boa condensação de toda uma época do q foi a época de ouro dos quadrinhos. Tipo um manual q a gente fica folheando e curtindo aos poucos cada página e imaginando como deve ter sido naquela época com uma boa dose de inocência

Not much Superman/Batman/Wonder Woman inside
Wasn't super pleased with this book, which I bought used, at a discount. It's basically 365 calendar days of images. I'm not sure why it's done in that way. I found many of the images uninteresting, sometimes because of their obscurity (Hour Man), sometimes there's an unexplained disconnect between the date and chosen image (Wanda the Werewolf from December, presented in June?) or the poor cropping of a particular comic book page (eg., unnecessary, dead "All Star Comics" header space when the preceeding copy already tells us it's from All Star Comics). In DC's defense, they admit this themselves in the intro -- that these are obscure, extremely eccentric, and weirdly cropped. But they use Superman, the opposite of those things, on the cover of the book, so it's tad misleading. Moreso since there wasn't much Superman/Batman/Wonder Woman inside. It felt like a "greatest hits" album with a bunch of songs no one's heard of.

Not really sure......,
Its a nice looking, quality book. It basically has 365 pages - (like a calendar) each dated sequentially (jan-dec). It has a look through the history of dc comics. The drawings are basic to be fair (blown up a tad too large) and more emphasis on the older characters/ comics obviously. I bought this for a modern comic fan and am a little disappointed as it is a little too basic/ old. This is more for the nostalgic & history-comic-fans rather than someone with a modern love of comics looking back through comics transitions. The notes on each page are also strained - e.g."jan 16th Superman is roundly hated in his earlier guise and not appreciated as he is today..." ...alongside a pixelated pic of his face. You get the drift!
