Very helpful and intuitive, I've researched and tried a whole number of diets which have been on and off successful over the years, but never really maintained the weight loss as the diets were not sustainable. This book is no nonsense, no fad diets, it's one simple rule. Eat less than you use. That's it! If you want a chocolate bar, have one but it costs a lot of calories for not much benefit! And after a while of deciding whether the junk food cravings are worth spending my daily calories on, I'm beginning to now make better choices but I'm still getting to eat all the foods I enjoy such as pasta, rice even pizza! It's just about portion size and keeping an eye on what's going in! Great book that's changed the way I think about food!

What I like about this book is the straightforward explanations about food and calories. For some people, this stuff is rocket science. This book breaks everything down so that you can reach your goals while eating foods you love!
