Macmillan Children's Books Tales From Acorn Wood Little Library

I ordered this for my one year old who loves the flap books in this series. However this book was very disappointing. There’s no storyline and just takes bits out of the other books. Not worth they money. I wish they’d do more books in the flap series.

My boys love the books from this series. Some people might criticise the references to the other books but I think this is a good thing because it solidifies ideas already in place. The best way to teach little ones is repetition, repetition, repetition. Both my boys like them. Unfortunately they're mostly held together with sellotape and a couple have gone in the bin because my youngest started to eat them!!

its got all the characters from the other books and has no popups, its a bit more of a advert for the popup books.good to add to finish the collection but i would go for a diffrent one if you are wanting the pop ups.

I usually prefer not to review items than to give them bad reviews but this one annoyed me.First of all there is no book!The puzzles are not as good as the old ones of this kind we have that were put together hundreds of times (which are now quite damaged but still better than these ones!!!). These weren’t fitting together, are all wavy, thinner than the ones we have, box was damaged. I am glad I didn’t get it for a last minute present because that would be embarrassing! I’ll be returning them, annoying that now I will lose money for postage!
