I purchased this book for a young college student. They loved the presentation of the information and found it helpful to kick start their podcast.

I liked the author’s voice, and the had smart, positive messaging that was easy to breeze through, and the book was very polished, professional in its style. However I would have appreciated a little bit more of a “how to set up your podcast” or “how to get ahead in podcasting” stuff. There was a lot about confidence, vision, self belief and passion, which honestly wasn’t hokey and could be quite motivating, but I would’ve appreciated a bit more balance towards real solid tools over inspiration and principles. But maybe what I’m looking for is not necessarily what others are looking for. I think this would be a great little book to have as a kind of virtual coach if you’re constantly trying to talk yourself into giving this a go!

I don't know about you but podcast seemed to have exploded over the past decade and nothing seems to be slowing them down. That makes TODAY a great time to start if you've even remotely thought about starting your own.This book won't bog you down with never-ending details about how to get your podcast up and running. Instead, this is more of a "just in time" training to give you the essentials to get started from what equipment to use, the purpose of your podcast, how it get it online and distributed, how to launch it so you actually have listeners from day one, and how to monetize it.Could the author have provided even more details? Sure, but this is podcasting made simple. I'm an analysis paralysis type of person so too much details and steps stop me from even getting started. This book helped put everything in perspective so tell me what I need to do and to ignore the rest.If you're looking to get started, this is a great start.

Really enjoyed and took a lot away from reading Larson's book. As an aspiring podcaster I wanted to understand the playing field and what's involved in getting myself recorded, getting myself out there, and even why (whether?) this platform is right for me. I appreciate his passion and it comes through in his writing. Five stars.

I was feeling overwhelmed about starting my podcast because I wasn’t sure how to get started. This book has laid out the principles of how to have a successful podcast.

I was looking for an introductory type book to help get my husband and I started with our podcast. I stumbled across “Podcasting Made Simple” and so glad I did. Mr. Larson writes in a very easy to read and understandable step-by-step format. I feel as though I can jump in and get started right away and follow his instructional advice along the way. I will definitely be reading this book again and taking notes.

For anyone wondering what it takes to start a successful podcast channel, this book covers it all in a well-organized manner. The author's casual style sort of threw me at first, but I found it puts one at ease with the topic andthe author knows his business, inside and out, covering all the bases. There is a lot of personal experience being shared and the content is divided into several chapters that walk you through the podcasting process. As someone having a background in this area, I recommend it for anyone just getting started in this new media business.

I already red quite a few books about podcasting and this one delivers what’s mentioned in the title. It is simple and easy to implement. Daniel describes it very well.

Couldn’t ask for anything better from a book that’s guides you all the way through the podcasting process. I was thinking about starting a podcast for the longest time and this came up on my recommendations, so why I’d buy it, what a choice that’s was just the simplicity that Daniel provides in this book is spot on. My favourite chapter has to be chapter 7 ‘How to bring your podcast to the immediate attention of eager listeners’. A great drive into networking, and the best practices to apply whilst doing promo for your show. If you are completely clueless about podcasting and wants a guide that, makes things easy to understand, follow and apply then this book was written for you. If you want a book to get you off to a wonderful start to your podcasting journey then this is for you. It’s helped me out tremendously!

This book is extremely high level. Suggestions like ‘do what feels right’ and the entire chapter on launching a podcast is quite literally duplicated in the book word for word. It’s in chapter 7 as ‘dos and Don’ts’ and then again as ‘how to attract thousands of listeners’.
