Bought for heart health, kinda big to swallow, and they smell like chocolate. They have no flavor and don't take away any pain they're mainly to help your heart stay healthy. They're quite expensive but who can put a price on your health.

2/18/2012 UPDATE: I paid $20.99. I see that the price changes from time to time.Although somewhat expensive, Schiff MegaRed Extra Strength is worth spending the extra money. The bottle does not smell fishy whatsoever. I think that they are very fresh. I felt much better within 15 minutes of taking it. These are very powerful doses of fresh krill. We started using the product on the recommendation of our family doctor. My husband uses it to help with his good cholesterol, I use it for my knee. I have found that this product works great for my joints. I don't burp up any kind of fish smell with these either, usually a big problem with fish oil. The smell is not great but I don't go around smelling the bottle so it's a minor drawback. It has brought my husbands good cholesterol number up by 15 points over a 3 month period.

I use this product in the place of fish oil.
