This is a very cool product and works just the way I wanted it to. I love the way the magnetic ball swivels when adjusting the phone to angle it differently. It is smooth and also stays tightly fitted..so no falling off. I was impressed enough to get the magnetic clip on for my car and I love that too. Good value for the $$$

I went outside this products intended purpose. I did not care for the sterile mount designed for vehicles because the only place to mount it was where the vents would blow onto my phone causing my phone to overheat from the hot air in the winter. So I bought this. I had a hard time finding an adhesive that would stick to a dashboard long term. Some adhesives would last a few months, others would last less than a day. Nothing sticks to a dashboard. The torque created by the magnet to phone combined with the leverage created by the height of the mount was too much for most adhesives. Then I found some sort of marine adhesive. That has been the best. Lasted all winter and is still sturdy. However I would warn that using a marine adhesive will permanently be on your dashboard. For me, it’s a work truck. I don’t really care about the dashboard. What I do care about is being able to see the GPS on my phone and not take my eyes off the road. I didn’t choose a suction cup windshield mount because the phone would then be too far away. I couldn’t reach it easily. 2019 Ford Transit.

Big fan of steelie products. I bought the windshield mount first. Then the magnetic mount. Amazing versatility. Highly recommend. Pedestal- I bought it for my girlfriend and she does all her tik toks with it. If it was magnetic it would be a thousand times better. It is very sturdy and balanced. Holds a LG Velvet with no problem and has full motion for any angle. Highly recommend

This is the perfect tool for a Western Star semi truck dashboard to hold phone! Must also have Steelie ball to make work!

LOVE IT! I’m using this on my desk to hold my phone. Love that I can have my phone angled almost horizontal so when I’m using speaker phone there is nothing blocking the microphone!!! The base has a non slip portion on the bottom. Keeps my iPhone extremely secure. Would highly recommend this!!

The Craftsmanship seems decent the metal piece threads into the plastic base It is a very tight fit to thread it in I would recommend turning it backwards first then forwards to help line it up The base didn't come with any adhesive pads at all only these anti slip silicone like pads at the bottom I really wish they provided the opition to install the non slip pads or adhesive pads to install at the mount is useless to me the way it is I wanted to install it where's the mount is fixed in place and doesn't move I didn't notice anything on the package or stating it was only for desktop type or stationary options.
