I was surprised how small the box was when I received this lamp. Very simple but effectively designed. There are four metal poles with threads that you screw together and that is also how you adjust the height. If you want it shorter you might only use two or three poles. The square base is small enough to fit into any corner, great lamp for limited space. Even though it is very lightweight and easy to pick up and carry I haven't had any issues with it tipping over. It has a variety of different lighting settings for any task and mine came with a 2 year warranty. I think compared to other lighting in this price range you can't go wrong with this light. Great seller! Shipped out quickly and followed up with email making it easy to address any concerns. I am very happy with my purchase!

I gave this lamp as a gift to my husband. He put it together easily. The cord is long enough to reach around the chair to the outlet. It's a nice matte black. It's pretty tall over 5 foot. It's bright enough that an old man can read in his chair, which is what i intended to it to do. He's even using it as a room lamp when he goes to lie on the couch. Bright enough to read, but not too bright to keep him awake!

This is an absolutely perfect lamp for reading or drawing or coloring (or knitting? Crocheting?) It brightens quite a bit to different shades, and it dims down quite a bit too. And it's just small enough that I can officially say it's suitable for "small space LOVING." I deducted 1 star because it's rather top heavy. I've knocked it over several times because it just kind of toppled over on me. Otherwise, I don't have any other complaints. Wonderful!

Being I prefer "warm white" light instead of sharp blue-white LED light, this is a great floor or desk lamp. It has adjustable color temperature settings from 3000K-6500K plus adjustable brightness. As a light for reading piano sheet music, the warm white 3000K setting is much easier on the eyes. 8-)

I needed a way to eliminate shadows over the top of an Optishot 2 golf simulator module and this fits the bill perfectly. It’s height adjustable, bright, and the warm color temp setting is perfect for this application. The light it throws in this situation perfectly lights up the hitting mat, sensor area, ball tray, and where your’re standing, mostly because of the flexible boom and how stable the base is at this low height. It’s a very slick, high-end effect. An unexpected, albeit fortuitous, benefit is that this light can take a hit from a golf club…or several. It’s been knocked over from some post-shot carelessness but is no worse for wear. As a full height floor lamp, this could struggle a bit with stability due to the lightness of the base, but as a desk lamp or, as in my case, a way to close-illuminate a surface, this thing is an absolute champ.

I'm in my older years and did not want to give up my cross stitching. This was the perfect solution to provide great lighting for my old eyes. I loved it so much that I bought a 2nd one for the other side of my work area.

Third purchase over the last year or so, for different rooms. Love the flexibility and light levels, and small footprint. I generally point the lamps at the ceiling, for soft, reflective lighting, but when needed can just as easily direct it downward. Easy to assemble.

I kept this lamp because (1) it was inexpensive, (2) I can adjust the light it throws so it's just right and (2) it is unintrusive on my desk. On the negative side, the base is too small to lend stability for a 60" lamp and the assembly directions are lacking. We figured it out, but the fact that the threaded connectors were removable escaped us for a frustrating period of time.
