Wonderful steamer for family size meals. Good with vegetables and larger things you want steamed.

Im going to use it as an adjustable linear impedance receiver. With minor modifications and connection to my oscillating variable pitch diametrically modified OSC coupler. I should be able to receive Romulan class One A communications.

Okay - its light weight and feels cheap, but for our needs on a Thermador gas stove (all the burners are large), this steamer pan is perfect for us! I can steam a lot of veggies or reheat whole meals in the steamer basket. I have even used it to steam hot dog buns and it is great for that as well. I ordered it because it is a larger size and stainless. I put the steamer basket in the dishwasher but tend to handwash the lid and clean the base with vinegar to get rid of hard water residue, but have had it for 2 years (orderd Nov. 2022) and still recommend it to my friends.

It’s a beautifully thought out vegetable steamer. The larger green handle allows for easy handling with hands without the use of utensils to avoid a hot surface. The foldable feet with a rubber pad (same color as the handle) act as a wonderful way to avoid scratching the pot. The opening of the steamer is quite tight spring wise but this is good because it means it feels sturdy and able to be used with heavier veggies if necessary. Love the steamer when I can use it for broccoli or carrots

This little steamer basket has folding legs and it folds closed and opens easily. Nice for storage.

I put the lid on the kitchen sink side and it slided into the sink. Less than 10 inches tall, and the lid crashed into million pieces. Took a look and painful time to clean. I know it's glass and it crashes when fell, but man, that's the kitchen sink and that's less than 10 inches! Isn't a pot in the kitchen supposed to be able to handle things like this? That's reasonable and very likely to happen in the kitchen.

First off, this is NOT a 2-tier steamer. There is only one steam rack that is included so it is a 1-tier. You get 1 boiler, 1 steamer tray, and one lid.Also as other reviewers have noted, the metal is extremely thin, and seems to be poorly made (or they have crappy QA) as the bottom of the boiler is not leveled but curved. Picture is a side shot of boiler sitting on induction stove top. Wouldn't be any light bleed if it was sitting completely flat on the stove...The material is steel (polished but not stainless? Didn't keep long enough to confirm), and will work on induction stove tops.Side note:At this price point (~$28), if you have an Asian grocery store near by, you should try buying there instead as I found an actual 2-tier at the same price as this one.

Sturdy, well made, works like a no other steam basket I've ever owned. Worth every penny. My compliments to the product designers, ergonomics are perfect, opening and closing flawless just one fine product.
