Not what you might think it is...
The name implies one thing but the product is something else. "Bigoli" is a pasta form from the Veneto region with different "gauges" for Padova, Vincenza et al. It is now made purely from semolina and extruded under pressure. It is a peasant food, so shouldn't really have egg or other more extravegant ingredients in it. It should also be "big" in diameter, not this product, which just appears to be normal spaghetti. I should have got my Bigolaro out but thought this might save me some time for a dinner party... oh well, we live and learn. The actual pasta was OK, but nothing special.

This product was advertised as long spaghetti, but it wasn’t it was just the ordinary size you can buy the supermarket
