Gluten free and tastes good
Taste great and good replacement for cream of wheat if you’re gluten free

Taste great and filling
I really like this gluten free buckwheat cereal. Smooth and heats well. I missed hot cereal and this really does the trick replacing oatmeal. Add coconut milk and stevia. Great way to start the day. Filling and taste great.

Really great flavor
Even though I purchased this last fall, I am just starting to use it. Buck wheat is a good GF cereal and seems to be a bit difficult to find in the local stores. I've always liked Bob'sRedmill Inn products even before I had to be gluten-free. (RIP Bob) I mix it half/half with gf oatmeal. Cook low and slow so it is creamy. It's on my re-order list, but the 4-pk is a much better value.

Buckwheat hot cereal
I was looking for a cream of wheat substitute which is organic. This is not the same but this is healthier.

New Morning Cereal
I'm a steel-cut, whole groat, oatmeal guy. I like the flavor and the texture. However, I don't always have time to cook it in the morning. My wife brought home some creamy buckwheat cereal (not Bob's). It cooked quickly and had a good taste. The texture wasn't very "nutty", but it was O.K. in that respect. When the package was empty, I ordered Bob's, strictly for the convenience of getting from Amazon. Bob's version produces a thicker, "nuttier" cereal that is more filling that the previous brand. Buckwheat is very interesting to me. It can be served savory, sweet, or with other flavorings. The texture is heartier that cream of wheat, but not a chewy a steel-cut oatmeal groats. It seems to have more out-of-the-box flavor than oatmeal, but it accepts toppings well. Anyway, I love it.

Nice for toddlers
Toddler & I like it. 3rd person in the house, not so much. I found they needed more water & microwave time than instructed. Just stick it in the microwave, adding more water if necessary, & let it sit for a bit until you remember it. Depending on the water level, this reminds me of congi, millet porridge, or polenta. Very easy for the toddler to eat with her hands, & sticks very well to her toddler spoons, better than puree or baby oatmeal (although I sometimes sprinkle a little on for the iron). Best with a little fruit or sweetener, or with shredded cheese like grits.
