This thing is designed to work. It's not flashy. No rainbow braid, no glow, no blingy lights. Being able to charge your phone and play at the same time is such an important thing if you play games. The 90° angle makes it so easy to hold and you'll never have to stop playing to charge your phone.

The right angle plug works great and faces the right way for my Kindle Fire. Does not face the "right" way for my Samsung tablet.... needs to face the "left" way. I'll keep looking, somebody makes one (or will)Update: Left and right angles are available.

I got this cable so I could actually use my Kindle while it is charging. Whoever decided to put the port on the BOTTOM of the device didn't think about how impractical the placement would be. I lucked out with the 90 degree micro input being the correct direction for me to conveniently plug the other end into the USB port on the base of my lamp. I read in bed and the lamp is to my right. This plugs into my Kindle with the cord going in that direction (to the right as you are looking at the Kindle's screen). It would still work going the other direction, but I would have needed extra length to loop it around the back. Either way, it is better than a standard cable that sticks straight out the bottom- making it impossible to place the Kindle in a lap log or other type of holder. It's worth every penny to me, and I am the ultimate penny pincher! :-)

I wanted a right angle charger to run from a USB Adapater in the rear of a car's center console to the front, to power an Amazon Echo Auto. I found a position that is nearly invisible, but I wanted right angle connectors so the cables didn't protrude and were largely out of sight. This cable powers every thing perfectly, and the 6ft length is perfect for the path that I used to tuck and rout the cable behind some interior panels. Overall, I'm quite happy!
