Best knife I have ever used
I have too many knives for my own good, Spyderco, Gerber, and of course Kershaw, including a few different Leeks. These are simply the absolute best EDC carry knife money can buy for a few reasons. This particular one, with the D2 edge and 14C28 stainless spine is unreal. It came factory sharpened to an edge that is able to use for shaving. Dry. Cleanly. And after enough use on cardboard, plastic, even cutting copper wire here and there, a little time on a diamond stone, and this thing is surgically sharp again. Not exaggerating, you can get an edge on this that is surgically sharp, like a scalpel, and it will stay that way with little more than a leather strop once in a while for a good long time. It is slender as it gets, for a full 3 inch knife, fits perfect in the pocket, and with the clip, is quick and easy to grab when you need it, and can be opened and closed, completely one handed, and put back in the pocket. Some people seem to feel the smooth stainless handle gets too slick, but after years carrying these, I find it perfect to anytime I need a knife, I can reach grab open, cut and put it back all with one hand. Just an easy to use tool. And even after a hard day packing and unpacking boxes, covered in glue from the tape...a little brake cleaner on a rag, and instantly, back to completely clean. On top of that is Kershaw's warranty. Lifetime, and they mean it. Yes, they will sell you a $10 replacement blade...but the one time I called about it, they simply sent me a new knife, no questions asked. Free sharpening for life? Seriously, send it back, and they will sharpen it and send it back. Of course, you are without it while they do that, and if you are like me, you sharpen your own knives anyway. And, for me, while Kershaw does offer offshore made knives, these are not, they are made in the USA. Proves that when we want to, we Yanks can still build the best on the planet. To me, that is important. And then there is the price. I have alot of more expensive knives, but this is the one I turn to, and wind up replacing every time I misplace one. Nothing else I have found, at any price, seems to be near as good for a simple, EDC knife. And with the price, you don't need to have a stroke over replacing it. Personally...when I misplace one, I get a slightly different version each time, so when I find the one I misplaced, it's at least slightly different. Every Leek I own, or have owned has been an outstanding, utilitarian tool that just does it's job, and I suspect, eventually my kids will inherit these and work them, and if I could be here to see it, I suspect my great-great grandkids will be able to still be using the ones I bought.

Near perfect EDC
In the photos you can see the Kershaw leek compared to my previous EDC, the SOG Twitch II. I have carried the SOG for 3 years, I absolutely love it, but I decided to look around and see if there were any knives out there that might compete for my pocket. I have looked into the leek for years but hadn’t purchased one until now. So far I really like this knife. It is affordable, the quality and durability seem good so far, and it is RAZOR sharp, it will slice anything. I tested it by slicing through sheets of paper and it made a smooth cut with no tearing. I also easily shaved some hair off my arm. The blade lock is a nice safety feature, so I don’t have to worry about it opening up in my pocket. It opens easily, and very, very quickly. The finish is beautiful. Some reviews mentioned that they had rust show up on their new knife, something I fortunately have not yet encountered. I put a light coat of oil on my knife to give it some protection, just in case. Over all I am very pleased with the Kershaw Leek. If after a few months I am still using the Leek as my EDC, and it’s still in good shape, I plan to buy a black one with a half serrated blade. If I run into any issues I will update this review.

I really love this Kershaw leek knife .
I thought I had lost mine and bought this to replace it. Then mine turned up again. Imkeeping this . These Kershaw leek knives are awesome . I have a farm and a kennel. I can't always use both hands to open a pocket knife, so the spring assist is great. The blade stays sharp and is easy to sharpen if need to razor sharpmess . I have owned this and the Onion chive model for over 5 years a, they are light, well balanced and open quickly with spring assist. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them And Amazon has the best price for them.

Sharp and well-made and fits nice
More than expected! Quality blade size just right for its size. Extending the blade is a little difficult for It's size I have to adjust grip each time so I can realese the blade without cutting myself. I think it is because I am not used to the size of the pocket knife. Pocket clip works well. As I pull the knife I have to re- adjust so I may open it which takes seconds too many in my opinion but again I think the size is new for me and keep be my fault. I prefer to keep knife clipped and not in my pocket. Overall this is a well made stiff

It is a great little knife!
I have been carrying this knife pretty much daily for a decade. Yup....ten years! Perfect size and weight for front pocket carry. You forget it is there until you need it. Solid clip with great hold but not too tight. Blade comes out lightning fast and is sturdy when locked out. I like the sharp tip on the blade and the serrations make it so much more useful with popping off zip ties and whatever you need to dig into. The perfect knife for me obviously. Only down side to this knife if I have to be picky is the blade lock mechanism. It would lock sometimes by accident when putting in or out of pocket. I just removed it all together soon after I started carrying it and it never deploys accidentally so I don't think it is really necessary. Just my preference. Every two or three years I will take it apart/clean/lube as needed. You will notice it getting slower to open from pocket lint and usual little bits of crud working into the mechanism area. I recommend the all silver version instead of the black option. The black seems to get beat up and show use where the black starts chipping off (from pics I have seen). Mine still looks as good as when I bought it with just wear on the edge of the blade. Hope this review helps you!

This knife feels every bit a quality product. A joy to use and hold. The tip is a bit stiletto, so it needs to be treated with respect.
