I purchased a pack of these beads just under two weeks ago, and I ended up getting a second pack three days ago. The beads are true to size and the hole is large enough to accommodate a double leather string. The holes are also clearly drilled so they can be strung up with relative ease. They have a smooth finish and the color is along the lines of natural/ birch and there are no color variations within the pack. I am more than satisfied with the purchase and I consider this an excellent, sturdy product.

These wooden beads were just perfect for the project that I bought them for... We needed a paper towel holder for our boat and I came up with the idea of using these strung onto a shock cord which we attached to two stainless steel rings as shown in the pictures. The finish on these beads was so nicely done and smooth, I did not have to do any sanding or staining of them. The size was perfect.

Exactly what they say they are. 1" beads, well smoothed and beautiful. (Aside from the inside of the holes, some of which were pretty rough but easily remedied.)We used these to make snowmen ornaments for a class party. They worked well. However, it was nearly impossible to tie the twine into a large enough knot that it wouldn't slip back through so we used a smaller bead as a stopper on bottom. That's not a fault of the bead though, just my poor calculations on the size of the hole vs the knots.

I would purchase these wooden beads again. I didn't have to toss any of them.
