Grundsätzlich erfüllt der Aufsatz seinen Zweck. Er erleichtert viele Arbeiten in der Küche - mühseliges Reiben oder klein Schneiden wird damit schnell und akkurat erledigt. Beim ersten Verwenden mussten wir feststellen, dass die mitgelieferten Trommeln sehr grobe Raspeln ergeben und wir bestellten uns sofort die 3 weiteren Trommeln nach. Ich denke für jeden der sich das anschafft ein Muss. Da kommt man fast nicht herum! Wir haben viel Gemüse geraspelt um Suppenwürze herzustellen - selbst harter Sellerie geht relativ problemlos - wenn man fester drückt! Käse, Nüsse, Schokolade wird ratzfatz gemahlen/ gerieben. Genial find ich auch die Scheibentrommel - Kartoffel sind so schnell in dünne Scheiben gehobelt - ideal für Gratin oder wenn man will Chips. Einfach genial. Auch Kraut hauen wir durch - perfekt für krautsalat, Sauerkraut oder zum kochen. So schnell und so fein - geht natürlich auch mit einem Messer aber niemals in der Zeit und so bequem. Viele schrieben - dass sich das Gerät innen verfärbt. Das stimmt leider - allerdings haben wir 3 kg Karotten gerieben - und es blieb ein kleiner, dünner oranger Streifen zurück. So dramatisch fand ich das jetzt nicht. Klar sollte es nicht sein. Man kennt das von Plastik Kochlöffeln und Curry - der bleibt dann auch Gelb. Ich hab das gelesen und in Kauf genommen- daher störts mich weniger - da die Arbeitserleichterung deutlich überwiegt.Spaß macht es obendrein!

I recently purchased the KitchenAid 5KSMVSA Fresh Prep Slicer/Shredder Attachment for my KitchenAid Stand Mixer, and I am absolutely thrilled with it! I love this attachment. It removes and cleans easily, the only watchout is the ability to slice onions. If I haven't cut the chunks carefully the larger pieces can get stuck.
