This particular set of oil paint is not water mixable. These paints will repel water, and should instead be mixed with a traditional oil medium or solvent.

Q: About how long do these paints take to dry?

It actually takes oils approximately 3 years to dry completely. They may be dry to the touch. But they do take that long to completely dry.

Q: are these paints compatible with the bob ross wet-on-wet technique?

They are. I get great results wet on wet Bob Ross style.

Q: The tubes shown in the box are different colors than what you are sending???

The tubes in the box are exactly what was sent to me. I love this oil paint. I use it frequently.
