Hada Labo Tokyo Hydrating Facial Cleanser, 3.5 FL OZ - with Hyaluronic Acid, creamy and non-drying, free from fragrance, parabens, alcohol, mineral oil, dyes

I got this product while it was on sale. I've used it for about a week after patch-testing and I've noticed that it can be drying if I use it twice a day, so I restrict my use to night-time only until I find a good moisturizer. It's got a good Ph and lathers up nicely. You only need a small amount , so I think this will last a while. To me, it has a very light scent and unlike other cleansers I've tried - it doesn't make my skin feel tight afterwards.

A little goes a long way with this cleanser. It leaves my skin feeling clean and comfortable, but I like my Corsx Good Morning cleanser better and I can't really put a finger on why.

Product has a strange and slightly off-putting smell. This may be because I am used to over-perfumed Western products, so take that with a grain of salt, but the bigger issue I had was that it instantly stripped my face, leaving it feeling dry and tight. Dry skin folks may need to avoid.

This is, far and away, one of the best cleansers I've ever used. Like most people, since I'm not in the habit of spending $50 on a big brand cleanser, I've grown up using brands like Neutrogena. With brands like these, you learn to expect certain things: in the realm of cleansers, this usually means that they are stripping and drying, especially for sensitive skin. Desperate for something a little more gentle, I decided to try this cleanser from Hada Labo Tokyo, and, thankfully, the difference was like night and day. Texturally, unlike the heavy, messy, soapy cleansers, this was actually light and foamy. After using it, my skin felt clean, without feeling stripped and irritated. Additionally, since this cleanser didn't strip the moisture from my skin, I noticed that I didn't need to compensate by adding more layers of moisturiser. Now, to my skin's benefit, I'm a Hada Labo convert, but it all started with this cleanser. So, if you have sensitive skin, dry skin, or just want better from your cleanser, please give this a try!

This is my favorite cleanser now. I am not one that usually sticks to one product. I like to try new things, but I continue to but this because I love it. I cannot use products that have perfumes because they set my rosacea on fire. This has great sudsy action and I barely use any to wash my face and neck, I mean like a nickel size, so it goes a long way. I have tried a lot of expensive brands but this is the one I recommend to everyone.*FYI if you every see a review that says they received an item FREE in exchange for a review DO NOT TRUST IT! These people are asked to LIE. I know because I use to receive these items and they told me point blank never to post bad reviews. I asked to be remove from the program. THIS IS NOT ONE OF THOSE ITEMS. I BOUGHT THIS.

This used to be my go-to face wash for years but I only just started paying attention to the ingredients and noticed it has Methylisothiazolinone (MIT) which is a common preservative found in many liquid personal care products, and has been linked to lung toxicity, allergic reactions and possible neurotoxicity. I’m saddened by the realization and will be on the lookout to buy a new foam wash that doesn’t contain preservatives. -Wish me luck because I will need it!

I love this cleanser. It might be HG status. I'm 42yrs old and have slightly dry skin. I've used all sorts of cleansers - Cerave, Neutrogena, Philosophy, Sulwhasoo, Skinfood, etc. This Hada Labo beats them all.My evening routine begins with removing my makeup with pure jojoba oil. Then, I follow with cleanser. The hada labo makes a nice foam and gets everything off without leaving my face feeling "squeaky" clean and feeling dry. My skin feels soft and clean after the hada labo. Best of all, this cleanser has a 5.5 pH, which is perfect for prepping your skin for other skincare products.I also use the Hada Labo Gokyujyn (sp?) Lotion Moist, and that's also an HG status product for me.

This is a wonderful product but is offered here at nearly double the price it can be purchased elsewhere. Appropriate price is $11.99. The tube is quite small and the price listed here is much too high.
