Overall these locks are pretty impressive, they offer a much higher security than your standard locks from the hardware store. Compared to these standard locks they are expensive (though if you are not familiar yet with the concept of buy once, cry once, then maybe these locks are not for you). Not just another pretty face. PacLock has done their homework and so did I when looking for an ideal padlock for 12mm (7/16") chain. Check out the YouTube reviews by the "Lock Picking Lawyer" for PacLock products.This lock is the Only American padlock that gives the German "Abus" and Italian "Viro" locks Any competition ! While no padlock is impervious to brazen physical attacks, thieves are like electricity, they'll always take the shortest path. This lock, with a well fitted chain, will make a thief's path to glory feel like a cat who just awakened a herd of Pit Bull's.

We used these locks to secure a cargo trailer. They worked a long time to try to defeat them and eventually they resorted drilling out the henge bolts to get in. Trailer was torched and when it was recovered all 5 Paclock locks were still secured! These locks are the best.

Its a really solid lock, the core is more secure than most peope's deadbolts and the whole thing is well thought out. The biggest reason to buy from paclock for me is the ability to buy different lock styles at different times all keyed alike.The only gripe I had was that the keys still had some burrs on them from cutting and didnt operate smoothly out of the box, its a 2 min fix so not a big deal but I found that odd

Product seems well built. Custom core keying is nice, and six pins is better than the common lock. I was able to rake it somewhat reliably, despite it having security pins. I think PACLOCK did their due diligence with the included core. However, if you really want, core is easily swapped out. I would choose this lock again over a similarly priced padlock.

I bought two of these locks for a U-haul truck and U-haul trailer. The lock fits the truck no issue, but would not fit the trailer. Less than a week from receiving the item I tried to return the one lock meant for the trailer and was informed returns aren’t authorized. Very frustrating to say the least!!! So be sure you know this lock will work on what you intend to use it with otherwise you’re just wasting money on a very expensive lock.
