This is a great product, easy to use, no smell, and dries quickly. Basically it does exactly what it is supposed to do. I am very happy with the results. I applied two coats, letting each coat dry for several minutes. My old boots look fantastic after polishing and applying this product to the heels. I included before and after photos to show off the results.

I had a pair of favorite boots that I thought I was going to have to get rid of because the heals were so worn and scuffed up....well, one coat of this magic and my boots are like new! I do have to add an additional coat after a few wears, but that's so much easier than trying to find a new pair of favorite boots! Easy to use, works and the price is right!

I thought this would be difficult because no other polish I had would work. It turned a more casual shoe with brown wooden heels to black making the look more formal. Two coats made it absolutely perfect. I highly recommend if you need heel colored changed or even touched up.

My husband bought this black shoe polish with the grand plan of turning the white soles of his sneakers black—because apparently regular sneaker paint was too mainstream. Spoiler alert: it did not work. Instead of sleek, black-soled kicks, he ended up with streaky, sad-looking sneakers that now leave faint black smudges everywhere like they’re haunted by bad decisions. To be fair, the polish works fine on actual leather shoes (you know, the thing it was made for). Just don’t expect it to double as a sneaker makeover kit.

I bought this to change the color of the sole edge & heel of a pair of boots from brown to black. It worked perfectly. It is very pigmented & dries to a nice shine.

Why did you pick this product vs others?: Good applicator. Long lasting.

This edge dressing is just ok, as compared to other brands. The two issues I have with it are that it is a thinner liquid than other products which complicates the application process. Secondly, the bottle has a sponge/felt applicator build into it's top. This prevents you from getting into the crack where the upper meets the sole and the sole stiches are.

I bought a pair of second hand Clarks shoes off eBay, which had brown rubber type heels and soles…. I wanted the heels to be black, the same as the uppers… Sole Edge and Heel Polish has done a great job…I now have black shoe heels to match the black shoe uppers 😊 very happy ..( could do with a slanted sponge applicator to fully reach the fiddly to get at bits…I used a cotton bud for that…that worked too 👍🏻)
