Q: I can connect my headphone but i can’t control the volume. Is it normal ?

Yes, it’s only meant to be a connection between amps. I use the headphone output to my Mackie Big Knob volume controller.

Q: How do I control the volume with this preamp is there a remote control I have to buy?

Theres no volume control on the Boxx1 unfortunately

Q: Can I plug my audio technia atlp. 60x into this preamp as a better choice than the onboard preamp.then plug into my onkyo home cinema receiver?

Depends if the receiver has the option of by-passing the onboard preamp with separate inputs

Hello. You don't need to add an X1 before X2, you can connect the audio source to the 3.5mm aux input of the BOX X2 and the rca output of the BOX X2 to the rca input of the st-01, you need an rca to rca cable for this connection. Thank you for your support!
