Boots are cute, fit well and work good. Good grips on bottom

Great look and value
These rain boots are perfect for me. I wear them mainly for walking my dog. They keep my feet and legs very snug and dry. I have read other reviews regarding size and calf width. They definitely are a little larger than most size 8s, but fit nicely with a thicker sock. The calf width is somewhat narrow, but that is really great for keeping rain from running inside. For someone with large calfs, this may be a problem. I love the paw print design and the shiny look. I have worn them several times these past few weeks, even walking through a stream, and my feet have stayed dry.

Nice, but not for someone with wider calf’s
They are nice rain boots, but ……. The calf area is way tighter than expected. I can weather with leggings, but not jeans. I’m 4’9” and they are plenty tall, just not wide enough. Had thought about returning, but it’s such a hassle that I decided to keep them.

Such cute and comfortable rain boots!
These boots are exactly what I wanted. They showed up in two quick days, they fit comfortably, and I can't wait to wear them the next time it rains. I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking to keep their feet dry when the weather is wet outside. I got them in shiny yellow and they are perfect.

You can make them work if you want
I got the paw print boots to wear to the dog park and they are cute. The black is shiny and the white paw prints are as clearly defined as in the picture. I have only had the boots for a couple weeks and thus far they have been keeping my feet dry after hosing them down and walking in the rain. These boots are good enough for the price. The footbed is quite large for me (extra room in toes and rather wide). However I decided to keep them because the calf is a close fit and who knows if a smaller size will still fit my calves. The good thing about the calves being a close fit is that it keeps the rain out. Granted I wear them with shorts and skin tight jeggings/stretchy skinny jeans.I hoped that they would come up to knee height, but they are a few inches below.I purchased a size 9. I am size 9 in Hunter (fits my calves with maybe a finger or something of adequate breathing room; the Norty boots hug my calves but thankfully they aren't cutting of circulation or anything) and Tretorn boots. In Dav boots, 9 is slightly tight fit in the foot.Oh and I tried a lot of boots that did not work out, including those Kamik Dynamic boots in size 9 which fit okay in the foot and literally scrapped away at my ankle (left me with bloody bruises after a half hour stroll in the park). Now I kind of wonder what could have been had I kept those big footed Joules Crockingtons. Maybe I didn't try enough tricks (though thick socks were not close to enough). The smaller size pressed against my big toes.Dealing with the big footbed:Thus far I have to wear them with thick socks and put a full size Odor Eaters (didn't cut it to size; I just laid it flat with the extra material covering curling up into the toe and also wrapping up at the heel.I want to get one of those full length shoe inserts for athletic shoes with the gel. I actually really like the grippy outside heel part and sole of the shoe. The first time I wore these boots I totally regretted not sending them back my feet slid all over the place and I felt like a kid wearing my father's shoes. However once I put an insert and wore two pairs of socks, it was okay. I still need a better insert but am relieved that I now have a pair of functional boots that cost under $25. Hopefully these will last. Anyway they are alright for what I need right now for what I can afford right now.Another downside is the ankles are thicker here. So while they are more comfortable, the boots make my legs look wider, cankles. They are less flattering than former boots. Yet again I bought these for practical use and function. So yea hopefully this helps. Obviously since I gave them three stars it's meant to say that the boots are alright. They could be better but nothing is perfect esp for this price. Plus some more expensive boots were no where near as comfortable. I recommend them if you can work with them. The free returns is nice if you can manage to figure out if they work for you without actually wearing them out. Thanks!

Really pretty natural rubber boots, wish opening was 1" wider on taller style
I didn't know if I should of ordered the shorter or taller boot. My calf measured 14 1/2 right above the top of boot when I have them on. I will not be able to tuck pants inside them, only could wear tights or thin socks. I wear them while wearing shorts to clean up outside yard. They are heavy rubber which I hope means they are durable. I don't think I could drive in them, since they are not very fitted around ankle area, but this does allow good mobility. They are very cute looking and super shiny so they stay clean looking. I do wish they made the opening a 16 inch for tall boots, many women have strong calf muscles and would like to tuck in pants to keep them dry and clean. Then make the shorter boot 15 inches so that would also allow to tuck in pants legs.

Worth it
Haven't used them thank God. They appear well made and sturdy. I live in a desert. We usually don't have flooding. However, with the way things are going who knows. Better safe than sorry. Don't want to wade through dirt run off water.

Pretty good boots, but I liked a different brand slightly better
I bought three different "cute" rain boots to try:1) Capelli New York Ladies Spring Floral Printed Rain Boots Navy Combo 72) Western Chief Women's Waterproof Printed Tall Rain Boot, Simple dot Navy, 7 M US3) NORTY - Womens Hurricane Wellie Printed Floral Hi-Calf Rain Boot, Blue 40715-7B(M) USThe winner for comfort and fit was the Capelli New York boot, hands down. These have a soft, supportive footbed that feels almost like memory foam. They fit true to size, snug enough to not flop around as I walked, but with space for warm socks if I needed them. They also hugged my calves closely enough that I wasn't as worried about them filling with water! The NORTY boots were a close second. These had an overall similar fit to the Capelli boots, but weren't quite as squishy and comfortable in the footbed. Since they were similar prices and I liked the Capelli pattern better, I decided to keep the Capelli boots. But I could easily have gone with the NORTY boots if I'd liked the pattern better, etc.The Western Chief boots were about $10 cheaper and felt it. There was almost no support in the footbed and they fit very wide around my calves. They also felt overall larger - I would probably go down at least a half-size if I were to order them again. All of these items meant they were less comfortable and tended to "flop about" as I tried to walk in them.I can't speak to any of their waterproof-ness, but they were all made of thick rubber, which I imagine will keep feet dry unless water comes in the top! I'm looking forward to using my Capelli boots, as we have had an unusually rainy spring this year.
