Amazing pillow!
Amazing! This pillow has been a total game changer for me. I struggle with neck pain and can never find a suitable pillow. I have been using a memory foam contour pillow which I love, but it's just too hot. I thought I would try this and wow, I'm so glad I did! It's weird, it's a bit noisy, but it is soooo comfortable. I never have neck pain and I sleep so well. I sleep on my back, just scrunch it under my neck and I sleep like a baby. I tend to turn over onto my side halfway through the night and just re scrunch it and I'm off to sleep again. That's the time it's noisy, when I turn over, but I've got used to it and it's no problem. I put an ordinary pillow case on and just tuck the excess under. I highly recommend this fabulous pillow.

Amazing pillow
Amazing. Love this pillow. Firm and yet supple. Big enough, and you can take out some of the filling if you want to. Can you get extra covers/pillow cases?

Don't be put off by the bugs (Rhyzopertha dominica)
This is the best pillow I have used. It really does induce a good night's sleep. I have since bought a second one. However there are a few things that you should aware of. 1. The filling is basically 99% buckwheat hulls. It is a natural product and will come with Wheat Weavels. These insects (Rhyzopertha Dominica) are harmless and can be removed from the filling. Buy a fine mesh bag large enough to hold the filling. Empty the filling into the mesh bag and tie the neck. Hang it up outside and the Weavels will climb to the top to escape. You can then twist the bag below them, open the neck and empty them out. 2. The inner pillow case looks like it was sewn by a five year old. If you have a sewing machine you can over sew the hem. 3. My first pillow came without washing instruction. Wash cool on a woolens program. Now I know people will say I should have sent the pillow bag along with the stowaways. But honestly the pillow really works. And I'm not scared of 2mm long beetles.

Nicely Made Support Pillow
This support pillow is well made and feels very different to normal pillows. It's much firmer offering the support that it claims. But it does give a bit, but just enough. The pillow isn't massive, but it's good for me to allow me to read comfortably in bed. The outer is removable for washing, and the pillow does come with a carry bag, although whether you'll be using this will probably depend if you travel with it. Overall, it's certainly a very different type of pillow and it fulfils its purpose.

Careful and I mean VERY careful washing and drying.
Don't trust the zip on the inner bag containing the buckwheat. After a low temp wash and dry, the zipper opened by itself and spilt the buckwheat all over the inside of the tumble dryer. It took hours to clean it all out. Product lasted a month, and zero washes. The colourful outer fabric is gorgeous, but is thinner than it looks in the photos and even on a very low wash and dry, still shrank slightly, with a little warping of the threads. Tips: 1. Handwash and clothes line dry only. 2. Wash all components separately. 3. Wash the buckwheat in a bowl, then pour it into a sturdier zip-up pillow case and tumble dry at a low temperature. 4. If the buckwheat spills everywhere, bin it. There is no easy or sure way to filter mites, germs and dust once it becomes contaminated. The pillow is VERY firm, because of the nature of the filling, although the buckwheat husks are small enough (like grains of rice) for it to be comfortable if you like firm pillows, like i do, without it feeling like a brick. Pros: because the pillow is too small to flow around your head and too firm for your head to sink into it, your mouth and nose are always above the pillow and clear of obstruction. Particularly reassuring if you're worried about breathing in your pillow's microplastics, even if it had any, which it doesn't. Cons: The pillow is so firm it is totally unforgiving if your ears become sore, itchy or blocked and on a warm day your ears can become very hot and sweaty, because there's nothing to wick away the moisture and heat. And that's why you need to wash and dry the buckwheat once every month or two. The ideal pillow would be a majority layer of buckwheat, with a very thin layer of foam, or microfiber or other conventional soft stuffing, or a thick cotton felt sheet or other similar barrier that would provide the tiny amount of cushioning needed for the best of both worlds. Looks like I'm going to have to sew something like that into the next one i buy, because it solved all the problems i had with conventional pillows, but it may be from a different company.

So far so good. A great replacement.
so far so good. I bought this to replace a very old spelt pillow which had done a good job for many years but increasingly felt 'not quite right'. So assuming that the old one was by now a hygiene risk (can you sterilise a spelt pillow?) I found this new one and it is good. I holds its shape well at the moment and holds my head in a good position, both on my back and when on my side. It felt a bit hard at first for a couple of nights, but no longer. It is a narrowish rectangle in shape and this it just right for the task. The spelt pillow is now in the compost bin.

Not very useful for everyone

I love this pillow
I love this pillow, sleep so well on it, I have taken it out of the pillow case it came in so it’s got more movement and isn’t so solid but you can adjust this yourself as they give you a bag to store any of the buckwheat if you want to take some out or wash the inner cover. I was getting pressure pain on my ears from my shaped memory foam pillow as I struggle to move in bed due to torn rotator cuffs in my shoulders, so I got this and haven’t looked back. It’s not full pillow size but I find that to my advantage.
